Volunteering with us
We welcome new volunteers
Are you looking for something worthwhile to do?
Do you get on with people from all walks of life?
Are you interested in helping with the preparation or serving of food during our sessions?
Each session has a supervisor and at least 3 other volunteers. The supervisor is an experienced volunteer who has completed all of our training courses. We send out a regular rota and volunteers sign up for as many sessions as they are able to do. We do, however, ask that each volunteer is able to commit to at least one session a month.
Volunteers are asked to arrive an hour before each session to set up and stay for about 30 minutes after to help clean down.
Please download and complete an application form and email it to us at recruitment@looseendsnewbury.org
Training Provided
The quality and reputation of our services are due to the competence of our volunteers and we support our volunteers by providing relevant training opportunities.
Volunteers are required to complete online Food Hygiene Training, within a year of starting to volunteer. Training is also offered in First Aid, Behaviour Management and Drug Awareness.
